There are many sights in and around Sondershausen. The castle of Sondershausen and the Trinitatis church are close to the hotel.

A very special experience is a trip to the adventure mine.
In 700 meter depth you can travel through underground labyrinths by jeep or truck or start to discover the depth of the salt mine on a mountain bike for yourself. The mine also offers boat trips across the salt lake, tunnel slides and gallery walks (app. 10 km), as well as an underground concert hall for about 300 persons
